Food Hawke’s Bay membership is made up of unique food and beverage producers, large, medium and small, who are committed to the growth of their business and raising the profile of Hawke’s Bay products locally, nationally and internationally. They are the cornerstone of Hawke’s Bay being the Food and Wine destination of New Zealand.
Our region has numerous small producers who have developed their passion for food into delicious products unique to Hawke’s Bay. These producers and their products are the basis of why Hawke’s Bay is known as New Zealand’s premium food and wine destination.
Hawke’s Bay has large and small commercial producers who have a history of using local ingredients and suppliers; they play an integral part in the food industry.
Many food producers sell their products direct to consumers from their premises enabling customers to meet the producers and see where the products are grown and manufactured. Many of these producers feature in the “food trail brochure”
Hawke’s Bay is well known for its cafe culture and first class restaurants where customers can sample locally grown food is great surroundings
Wineries welcome locals and visitors alike into their premises to discuss, sample and buy their wine, there is a diverse welcoming winery experience in Hawke’s Bay to cater for all tastes and budgets
